Letter 173: The sons of Lollianus are setting sail -- a trading voyage to Sinope [a port on the Black Sea coast of Asia Minor].

To Themistius. (360) The sons of Lollianus are sailing, and they are sailing on a trading venture to Sinope. Therefore, when they put in to harbor where you are, help them, and write to your friends in Sinope on their behalf; and if they should sell the little house, oversee everything, and do not allow either these men to be cheated by others, or us to be cheated by these men.

**To Themistius** (360) The sons of Lollianus are sailing — sailing on a trading voyage to Sinope. Θεμιστίῳ. (360) Οἱ μὶν παῖδες οἱ Λολλιανοῦ πλέουσι, πλέουσι δὲ κὰτ ἐμπορίαν εἰς Σινώπην. ὁρμιζομένοις τε οὖν παρ’ ὑμῖν βοή- θει καὶ πρὸς τοὺς ἐν Σινώπῃ φίλους ὑπὲρ αὐτῶν γράφε τό τε οἰκίδιον εἰ πωλοῖεν, πάντα ἐπισκόπει καὶ μήτε τούτους ὑπ ἄλλων μήθ’ ὑπὸ τούτων ἡμᾶς ἔα παρακρουσθῆναι.
