15 Likewise to the same man, concerning the commendation of a stranger Good man, attaining the summit of honor in keeping with your merits, noble bulwark, episcopal head, whom your rank and your noble nature exalt more worthily with the rich fruit of piety, as God magnifies you: that the man here mentioned may be your servant in kindly love, the humble page of Fortunatus entreats you, father. May this stranger likewise rejoice, most high priest, to have won you as his shepherd and his homeland.

XV Item ad eundem de commendatione peregrini Vir bone, pro meritis adipiscens culmen honoris, nobile praesidium. pontificale caput, quem gradus et genium fructu pietatis opimo dignius adtollunt amplificante deo: ut tibi sit famulans memoratus amore benigno, Fortunati humilis te, pater, orat apex. hic peregrinus item laetetur, summe sacerdos, pastorem et patriam te meruisse suam.
